研究焦點


表觀遺傳學(Epigenetics)是指在DNA序列不變的情況下,基因受到修飾而改變其表現活性,此種修飾可以藉由遺傳而影響子代的形性。近年來許多研究發現環境會通過表觀遺傳學影響下一代,借此增加生物體及其後代對所處環境的適應力。

 

我們主要研究興趣為營養素攝入對人體健康和表觀遺傳基礎的影響及其分子機制之探討。由於大部分的表遺傳學改變是可逆的,所以選擇有效的營養素或膳食干預可能可以經由改變表觀遺傳學而進而改善疾病表型。

 

在我們的實驗室中,我們使用小鼠模型式及細胞培養模式來回答相關生物學問題。其中幾個研究方向:


A. 營養素與表觀基因體調節
B. 脂肪生物學
C. 心血管生物學
D. 癌症生物學
